Raspberry pecan dessert bars made with Raven's Nest raspberry jalpaeno jam garnished with fresh pecans and raspberries

Raspberry Pecan Bars

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup Land O Lakes salted butter
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans, divided
  • 1 ½ cups Raven's Raspberry Jalapeno Jam
  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. In a medium mixer bowl combine flour, sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well combined and mixture resembles small peas (1-2 minutes). Stir in 1/2 cup pecans. Set aside 3/4 cup of this mixture.
  3. Press remaining crumb mixture into a buttered 9x13 baking pan or glass dish. Spread jam over crumb mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cup of chopped pecans and reserved crumb mixture.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until crumb mixture is lightly browned and jam is bubbly. Cool completely cut into squares.
